Hank’s Honkytonk Musician Guidelines

Thank you for performing at Hank’s Honkytonk! We appreciate the talented musicians who help create an unforgettable experience for our guests. Our goal is to provide a fun, professional environment where everyone—musicians, staff, and customers—has a great time.

Performance Schedule

Wednesday Acoustic Night

  • Performance: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • One 15-minute break at approximately 7:30 PM

  • Solo Artist Base Pay: $75

Friday & Saturday Live Music

  • Performance: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • One 30-minute break at approximately 9:00 PM

  • Solo Artist Base Pay: $100

  • Duo or Full Band Base Pay: $200

Please arrive early enough to unload, set up, complete a sound check, and be ready to begin at your scheduled start time.

If you’re running late due to traffic or an emergency, please let us know as soon as possible.

Payment

  • A completed W-9 is required before payment can be issued.

  • Payments are made via Venmo the day following your performance.

Equipment

Musicians Provide:

  • Instruments

  • Microphones

  • Instrument and microphone cables

  • Pedals and personal accessories

  • In-ear monitors or earbuds (if desired)

Hank’s Provides:

  • Professional house PA system

  • House mixer

  • Main speakers

  • Stage monitors

  • Wired in-ear monitor outputs (bring your own earbuds/in-ear monitors and any necessary adapters)

If you have questions about our sound system, stage setup, or connecting your equipment, please contact us before your performance date. We’d much rather answer questions beforehand than troubleshoot during your scheduled show.


Stage & Setup

Please help us keep the venue looking its best.

At the end of your performance:

  • Remove all personal equipment.

  • Dispose of any trash.

  • Return the stage and equipment to the same condition you found it.

  • Leave the performance area clean and ready for the next event.

Professionalism

We want everyone to have a great time. You’re welcome to enjoy a few drinks while you’re here; however, we expect all performers to remain professional before, during, and after the show.

Please:

  • Start and end on time.

  • Keep breaks to the scheduled 15 minutes on Wednesdays and 30 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • Treat guests, staff, and fellow musicians with respect.

  • Keep language and behavior appropriate for a public venue.

  • Help us create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Help Us Build a Crowd

Live music is a partnership, and we’d love your help promoting your show.

Please consider:

  • Sharing your performance on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media.

  • Inviting friends, family, and followers.

  • Posting reminders before and on the day of your show.

  • Tagging Hank’s Honkytonk whenever possible.

The more successful your show is, the better it is for everyone. We appreciate your help growing live music at Hank’s.

Tips

You’re welcome to encourage guests to tip during your performance. We simply ask that tip requests remain professional and not become excessive or make guests feel pressured.

If you have a Venmo QR code or other digital tipping method, we’ll gladly display it on our TV screens during your performance. Please send us the QR code in advance so we have time to add it to our system.
